With limited space on its home page but a desire to engage visitors with a super-powered survey, GAC Superfan launched VHM's AdBox app, an 300x250 pixel version of the EventBox that can be served through ad delivery networks or embedded neatly into the right rail of most web sites. The survey asked, "Which Concert Tour of 2011 Are You Anticipating Most?" Not only did the event drive massive ongoing traffic (driving 2.3 million page views of the EventBox alone), but it acted as a rolling focus group of site visitors on which music stars were most popular. GAC could instantly react to the ebb and flow of fan interest by adding more or less content on specific stars.
