We currently have an opening for an entry level Ruby/Rails software developer in our Knoxville, TN office. Must Haves: - Above all, must have a good attitude, be a team player, and have a strong work ethic.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails. You don't have to be an expert, and you can even be a beginner, but you do need to have actually have some real experience.
- Basic database knowledge. Again, you don't need to be a SQL expert, but should be able to retrieve data by joining two tables.
- Ability to navigate on a Linux file system and read log files.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, so that you can implement designs from a mock-up.
- Be willing and desiring to learn new skills, both business and technical.
- Must have good communication skills. You will need to be able to explain technical problems and solutions to people in sales, marketing, managers, and others.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Knoxville, TN.
